Call for papers for AUBE ’24 and SUPDET 2024 conference
The Department of Communication Systems NTS at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, has announced an extension to its call for papers for the upcoming ’18th International Conference on Automatic Fire Detection’ (AUBE’24) and the Suppression, Detection and Signaling Research and Applications Conference (SUPDET 2024).
The conference, in collaboration with the NFPA Fire Protection Research Foundation, Quincy, MA, USA, is scheduled for September 24-26, 2024, and aims to showcase the latest advancements in fire protection research, technology, and applications.
Interested individuals are invited to submit their extended abstracts, not exceeding three pages, by April 21st, 2024, via email to [email protected].
Submissions must include the full title, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), address(es), telephone number(s), and email address(es), with the presenting author underlined.
The abstracts should focus on original work related to automatic fire detection and security systems, ensuring scientific rigor, objectivity, and absence of commercial bias.
Submission guidelines and topics
The conference will cover a wide array of topics, including advancements in suppression technologies, special suppression applications, wildfire fighting, new detection technologies, toxic gas detection, and integrated systems for smart buildings.
Abstracts are expected to present credible results based on scientific aspects and are subject to review by the technical program committee.
Case studies that contribute to the field are also welcome.
Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by May 1st, 2024, and will be required to submit full papers, ranging from 5 to 8 pages, by July 1st, 2024, for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
The presentations should not exceed 20 minutes, and the event will also feature a table-top and poster exhibit.
