INTERSCHUTZ Community Days, a major event in the world of fire, rescue, and safety, has been postponed for a year due to concerns over its viability. Originally scheduled for 15-17 May at the exhibition centre in Münster, the event will now take place in Magdeburg in May of next year.

Bernd Heinold, INTERSCHUTZ Project Manager at Deutsche Messe AG, stated that the decision to postpone the event was not an easy one. However, given the current situation and the high level of commitment required from all involved, the organizers felt it was the best decision to ensure the event’s success.

The FireFit Championships, one of the central elements of the INTERSCHUTZ Community Days, will be part of next year’s event in Magdeburg. Daniel Berger, who is responsible for the championships, expressed his disappointment at not being able to present them in Münster but is already looking ahead to next year’s event.

INTERSCHUTZ is the world’s leading trade fair for fire, rescue, civil protection, and safety. The next edition of the event is scheduled to take place in Hanover from 1 to 6 June 2026. It covers all products and services related to fire protection, rescue services, civil protection, communication and control center technology, and protective equipment.
