Strategic appointments enhance global disaster response

Kenyon Emergency Services, a provider of disaster response services and part of Air Partner, a global aviation services group, has announced the addition of six new members to its team.

These appointments aim to reinforce the company’s global disaster response and crisis communications services.

Shabita Sumaraj has been named Head of Humanitarian Services, bringing over 18 years of aviation industry experience to her role at the UK headquarters in Bracknell.

She is joined by Dean Trussler, appointed as Head of Crisis Management Centre and Preparedness, who boasts 20 years of experience in emergency planning and resilience management.

Expanding crisis communications expertise

To enhance its crisis communications offering, Kenyon has appointed Susan Brown as the new Vice President of Crisis Communications, based in California.

She will collaborate with Donald Steel, Vice President of Crisis Communications in the UK, to extend the company’s crisis communications services globally.

Brown’s appointment is complemented by three new Associate Crisis Communications Directors in the United States, further bolstering the team’s capabilities.

These strategic appointments are set to enrich Kenyon’s already robust crisis response and communications support across international borders.

Legacy of excellence in emergency services

Kenyon Emergency Services has a long-standing history of expertly managing complex international crises, including its role in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and providing communications support during major aviation incidents.

Jonathan Astill, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Services at Air Partner, expressed his enthusiasm for the new appointments: “Kenyon Emergency Services has a proud legacy of delivering best-in-class emergency and crisis support.

We are delighted to welcome our new team members, each of whom brings significant skills and experience to offer our clients.”

Kenyon unveils innovated website

In addition to strengthening its team, Kenyon Emergency Services has launched a newly innovated website.

This development is aimed at making it easier for potential clients to access the company’s leading consultancy services and training programmes.

The redesigned website, along with the recent strategic appointments, underscores Kenyon’s commitment to enhancing its service offerings and solidifying its position as a leader in global crisis and emergency response services.
