The Institute of Fire Engineers’ GCC UAE Regional President to Chair 2024 IFSJ Leaders in Fire & Safety Conference
International Fire and Safety Journal is thrilled to announce the return of Terry Johnson as Conference Chair for the IFSJ Leaders in Fire & Safety Conference, scheduled to take place on May 9, 2024, at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel in Dubai Marina.
Last year set a high bar, but we’re aiming even higher for 2024. With Terry Johnson, Director of Emergency Services at Jasara NEOM The Line and Regional President of the Institute of Fire Engineers’ GCC UAE, at the helm, we’re poised to redefine industry standards and foster critical discussions that drive progress in fire and safety.
A word from the Chair
On returning as Chair, Johnson said: “The inaugural IFSJ Leaders in Fire & Safety Conference was a testament to the determination of the IFSJ team, the valuable collaboration with the Institution of Fire Engineers, and the unwavering support of Dubai Civil Defense.
“Their combined efforts made the event an unprecedented success, fostering meaningful dialogues that I believe will have lasting impacts on the fire and safety sector.
“As I eagerly anticipate returning as Chair for the next conference, I am committed to building on our achievements, driving further advancements, and continuing to create a platform for sharing knowledge and innovations.”
The in-person conference is taking place 9 May at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Dubai Marina, Dubai, UAE and will focus on the most important topics and verticals from the fire and safety sector, with expert views provided by the likes of Dubai Civil Defence H.Q. and The Institution of Fire Engineers
