Breaking down the LPS 2081 certification

Certification to LPS 2081 from the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), BRE, and Secured by Design offers confidence to consumers that the door complies with rigorous performance criteria.

Introduced in 2015, the LPS 2081 standard was established to counter stealthy attempts by opportunistic intruders.

This certification indicates two security grades, centred on the tools employed and the time taken by attackers to keep silent.
