Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc., a subsidiary of REV Group and a renowned manufacturer of custom-built, heavy-duty fire apparatus, has confirmed its dealership, Fire Master, will branch out into Oklahoma.

The expansion will be managed from their service centre located in Springfield, MO.

Fire Master’s growing footprint in the region

Currently, Fire Master caters to both fire service and industrial sectors across Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas, providing sales, support, and equipment.

As part of their growth strategy, there are plans in motion to augment their existing facility by an additional 14,000 square feet.

Furthermore, there’s an initiative to launch new service centres in both Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Scott Shelton, the president of the company, shared: “We at Fire Master are very excited to expand not only our sales for Ferrara into Oklahoma but also our service.

“We currently have a full-time service technician dedicated to the Oklahoma territory and have plans in the near future for a brick-and-mortar service center located in the Tulsa metro area.”

Operating out of a 16,000 square foot service centre in Springfield, Fire Master employs around 28 individuals.

Their facility houses 13 service bays, and all of their technicians hold EVT certification.

Fire Master’s association with Ferrara dates back to 2010. The business, initially established in 1972 by Gerald and Carol Shelton, now thrives as a second-generation family venture led by brothers Scott and Donny Shelton.

Jim Stover, the sales manager at Ferrara, expressed his optimism about the partnership: “Scott and the entire Fire Master team have demonstrated their commitment to serving our customers in Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas and we are confident that together we can bring that same level of commitment and service to Oklahoma.”
