Vox Ignis partners with Bosch Building Technologies

A notable British manufacturer specialising in audio products for fire safety and disability markets, Vox Ignis, has entered into a strategic alliance with Bosch Building Technologies.

This partnership grants Bosch exclusive rights to distribute Vox Ignis’s Lexicomm range in key South East Asian countries: India, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

Expanding global footprint

Since its inception in 2014, Vox Ignis, headquartered in Sunderland, has developed a worldwide reputation for its innovative products.

Its systems are installed in various settings, including high-rise residential buildings, airports, hospitals, hotels, and cinemas.

The new agreement with Bosch is a strategic move to bolster Vox Ignis’s presence in the South East Asian market and expand its manufacturing capacity in Sunderland.

Vox Ignis reported its best-ever results in the 2022/2023 financial year, with expectations of a 20% increase in turnover in the current financial year.

Despite facing economic challenges, the company has seen significant growth, a trend it expects to continue with the Bosch deal and the upcoming launch of new products.

Anthony Smith added: “Despite the economic headwinds and many challenges facing the industry, we’ve continued to go from strength to strength over recent years and I have no doubt that the deal with Bosch and the launch of numerous new products over the coming months will see us continue in that direction.”

Bosch Building Technologies, a division of the Bosch Group, will handle the distribution of Vox Ignis’s Lexicomm products in the Asia-Pacific market.

With thousands of global customers and regional headquarters in Singapore, Bosch is well-positioned to enhance Vox Ignis’s reach in the region.
