HAIX, a global manufacturer of specialist footwear, is set to exhibit at The Health & Safety Event 2023 from April 25-27 at NEC Birmingham. The company will showcase its innovative and expertly-crafted footwear, including the Black Eagle Safety 54 mid and Trekker Pro 2.0.

Black Eagle Safety 54 Mid

The Black Eagle Safety 54 is a leading safety shoe that prioritises comfort, stability, breathability, and durability. It exceeds the EN ISO 20345:2011 safety standard and achieves S3 certification through its exceptional safety features.

The midsole of the Black Eagle Safety 54 Mid is made from lightweight PU material, providing excellent thermal insulation and enhancing heel-to-toe support. The composite toe caps made from fibre-reinforced material provide certified protection for workers.

In addition to safety features, the Black Eagle Safety 54 also offers exceptional comfort to wearers. It features cushioned, moisture-repellent, and anti-bacterial insoles designed to allow air circulation around the shoe, maintaining optimum foot temperature in different climates.

The shoe also includes Electrostatic Discharge Protection (ESD), ensuring workers reduce static discharge and prevent ESD damage in the workplace. While safety features are critical, the Black Eagle Safety 54 offers wearers exceptional comfort, making it an ideal safety shoe for workers who prioritize both safety and comfort.

Trekker Pro 2.0

The Trekker Pro 2.0 is designed for maximum comfort and protection during long shifts. The waterproof upper, constructed from hydrophobic, breathable leather, keeps feet dry, while Sun Reflect technology reduces heat, keeping feet cool.

The GORE-TEX Performance inner lining maintains waterproofing while being highly breathable, ensuring comfort in all seasons. The boot features a rubber/PU trekking sole unit that provides firm traction on all surfaces.

The sole unit is dimensionally stable, giving optimum pressure relief, cushioning and muscular support, essential for maintaining foot posture, and reducing the risk of strains or foot injuries.

The lightweight steel midsole is puncture-resistant, while the anatomically formed steel toe cap protects wearers from underfoot hazards and falling objects. The boot offers superior flexibility, excellent insulation and high wear-resistance, ensuring maximum protection and comfort for the wearer.

Simon Ash, HAIX’s UK Sales Manager, said, “As a global specialist manufacturer of functional safety footwear, HAIX was delighted to attend The Health and Safety Event this year. We invited visitors to our stand 3/F15 and looked forward to sharing our expertise with occupational safety and health communities across the UK, ensuring we protect more workers with the highest functionality and quality standards, no matter their workplace challenges.”
