Serco has officially announced the promotion of Teren Tan to the position of Head of Emergency Services for the Middle East, marking a strategic expansion of its emergency services operations.

Tan’s new role encompasses overseeing strategic growth and compliance across Serco’s comprehensive emergency services operations, supported by a team of over 200 professionals.

Teren Tan’s journey to this pivotal role began with his induction into Serco in 2020, following a distinguished 14-year career with the Australian Defence Force, where he significantly contributed to emergency services.

His extensive experience and leadership qualities, particularly in driving improvement initiatives and major acquisition programs, have positioned him as a key figure in Serco’s ongoing success and expansion in emergency services across the Middle East.
