Intersec arrives in Dubai next week for landmark 25th edition

The 25th edition of Intersec, the world’s leading trade show for safety, security, and fire protection, is set to open its doors from 16-18 January at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
Celebrating its silver jubilee, the 2024 event promises to be a comprehensive platform for industry experts, government officials, and exhibitors from across the globe.
The exhibition, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will showcase 1,000 exhibitors from 60 countries.
Innovating security for a quarter-century
This year’s theme, ‘Innovating security for a quarter-century’, encapsulates the evolution of the security industry over the past 25 years.
With over 45,000 trade visitors expected, Intersec 2024 will feature a diverse range of sectors including Fire & Rescue, Commercial and Perimeter Security, Homeland Security and Policing, Safety & Health, and Cyber Security.
Key collaborations and sectors
The event is notable for its collaborations with various UAE government bodies.
The Fire & Rescue segment is supported by Dubai Civil Defence, while the Homeland Security & Policing pillar is backed by Dubai Police and the Security Industry Regulatory Authority (SIRA).
Dubai Municipality is involved in the Safety & Health section, and the Cyber Security feature is held in association with the Cyber Security Council and Dubai Electronic Security Centre (DESC).

The exhibition will also include conferences and workshops, such as the Security Leader’s Summit and the Cyber Security Conference, covering vital topics like cyber-enabled terrorism and innovations in fire prevention and detection.
The Intersec Awards 2024, scheduled for 17 January, will honour leaders in the fire, safety, and security industries.
