New leadership role at Rosenbauer International

Thomas Biringer, 55, has been appointed as the interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Rosenbauer International, a leading company in the fire safety sector.

This appointment will take effect on March 11.

Biringer, originating from Upper Austria, brings a wealth of experience from the international automotive industry to his new role.

His academic background includes studies in mechatronics at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz.

Extensive industry experience

Throughout his career, Biringer has held significant positions at renowned automotive companies including MAGNA, BMW, and Daimler.

In addition to his automotive industry roles, he has a history with Rosenbauer.

In 2009, he played a key role in establishing a production facility for the company.

Before accepting the position at Rosenbauer, Biringer served as the COO of the Schwarzmüller Group, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies.
